Meeting Minutes
The Meeting – was held at the Mayfield Twp. Hall
Networking – 4:00 PM Sign in, Set-up, Pay Dues, Shop from Benedict Nursery
Welcome – 5:00 PM Potluck,
Business Meeting – 5:22 PM there was no Treasurers Report because of having a speaker.
April Meeting Minutes – There were no corrections to the minutes Teresa Dillion made a motion to accept the minutes, Cathy Hodgson seconded it. Membership voted unanimously to approve the minutes.
Garden Tours – July we will tour the gardens of Barb Hunter and Cathy Hodgson from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM. Then we will go to Suncrest, tour the gardens there and have a potluck in the pavilion. We have the pavilion until 8:00 PM
August Garden tour will be at the home of Sandy Vukonich’s in Oxford. Tour times are from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Next Meeting – will be June 12th at Mayfield Twp. Hall. Susan Haddock will be presenting “Walking Down the Primrose Path”. Plants will be available to purchase from Botanophillia.
June 14th – Tour at Pace Gardens with APS. Botanophillia will be there also for your shopping pleasure.
September 11th – EMHS Plant Exchange at Suncrest
November 13th – Board meeting
December 11th – Annual Christmas Party at Mayfield Twp. Hall
EMHS 25th Anniversary Pins and or keychains – if you have not received a free pin/keychain please see Glen to get one.
Name badges if you need a name badge please print your name of the sheet if you need one. If you are new please print your name on the sheet and Glen will make sure you receive one.
Announcements – There will be a Garden Walk at the home of Rich & Grit of R & G Landscape & Hostas. June 21 &22 and July 5 & 6, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Light refreshments, and hostas of all sizes will be available for sale.
Nancy Zemmer announced that the Master Gardeners of Lapeer and Genessee Counties are having a bus tour to Meijer Gardens, the bus will leave at 8:00 AM and will leave from WoJo’s in Davison. Also, there will be a Garden tour on July 27
From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Lapeer County. Tickets are available at the Flower Basket or Flowers by Carole.
Also, the Lapeer County Master Gardeners will be having a workshop with a boxed lunch on August 16th, price is $60.00, there will be vendors there selling their goods.
